Realme has just launched the Realme X2, an upgrade to the Realme XT, which was released in September. The company has also launched its first truly wireless earphones, the Realme Buds Air. Realme PaySa, a digital financial service platform to go against Mi Credit, was also launched today in India.
“We have had an incredible year at realme providing the best power packed devices in each price segment, venturing into the premium segment and now going truly wireless with Realme Buds Air,”Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India, announced their expansion of portfolio in a statement.
Realme X2 comes with Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G processor and packs 4000mAh battery. The device features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handset runs on ColorOS 6 with Android 9 Pie and also supports 30W Super VOOC fast charging. The rear camera has a 64MP primary lens with Samsung GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera has a 32MP sensor for video calling and selfies. However, the device comes with fourth-generation artificial intelligence (AI), Super nightscape and Expert mode. Realme X2 comes in three variants and different storage options and with three colour options — Pearl Green, Pearl White and Pearl Blue. The device will be available on Flipkart, realme.com and offline stores starting from December 20th, Friday.
Realme Buds Air
Realme’s first true wireless earphones in India. The earphones come with Bluetooth 5.0, 12mm driver and support AAC codec. It comes with R1 chip for low-latency gaming mode and also packs dual microphones for environmental noise cancellation and better voice control. Also, it includes an infrared sensor for wear detection that can automatically play/pause the audio. The device features touch control options for smooth operation. When you open the case, the earphones get paired automatically due to Google fast pair. Realme Buds Air comes with Google Assistant support for Android and Siri support for iOS. The earphones come with 3 hours of standalone playback plus 17 hours with the case. The case supports wireless charging and comes with USB Type-C. The earphones come in Black, White and Yellow colors. Realme Buds Air is priced at Rs.3999 and available from December 23rd on Flipkart and realme.com
The company launched its digital financial services app called Realme PaySa in India. The beta app comes with four services: Free Credit Report, Personal Loan, Screen Insurance, and Business Loan. Realme partnered with CreditMantri, EarlySalary, LendingKart, and ICICI Lombard to offer some of these services. Users can try out the Realme PaySa app at the Google PlayStore.
