OnePlus India launched the much anticipated OnePlus TV and a successor to OnePlus 7. According to the company, OnePlus is the number one premium smartphone maker in the country. OnePlus 7T is the first smartphone to come with Android 10 out of the box. The company announced two variants of the TV, and the higher-end model comes with a slider soundbar. In addition, both the variants come pre-loaded with Android TV 9.0 with OxygenOS skin.
OnePlus 7T comes with a waterdrop notch and runs on Android 10. The phone features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display and a smoother 90 Hz refresh rate. The battery is slightly upgraded to 3800mAh and supports Warp Charge 30T. However, this allows the phone to charge the battery from 0% to 70% in just 30 minutes. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and also has HDR 10, Dolby Atmos, and Haptic driver. In addition, the smartphone features a triple-rear camera setup, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586, and 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x zoom. Finally, the front camera comes with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor, and the rear panel comes with matte-frosted glass protection. The OnePlus 7T is on sale in Amazon and starting at Rs. 37,999.
OnePlus TV 55 Q1 and OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro
OnePlus TV 55 Q1 comes with four speakers, while the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro comes with a slider soundbar and eight speakers. The OnePlus TV Q1 series runs on Android TV 9.0 with OxygenOS skin. The television model features 55-inch QLED panels with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support to provide a rich experience. The company has partnered with local OTT players like Hotstar, Voot, Amazon Prime Video, Eros Now, Hungama, Jio Cinema, and Zee 5. However, there is no support for Netflix yet. The device has Google Assistant support and also has a dedicated button on the remote. The OnePlus Q1 series is on sale on Amazon, starting at Rs. 69,990.
