Activision, in partnership with Tencent, has announced the official launch date of Call of Duty: Mobile. The free-to-play game will be available in Android and iOS on October 1. The company launched the closed beta back in May. According to the company, this brings content from both the Modern Warfare and Black Ops series of games. The game will feature multiple modes of play, weapons, fan-favorite characters, classic maps and a new Battle Royale mode. Also, the company allows the users to customize controls to have a seamless first-person action experience.
Call of Duty: Mobile tailored for mobile in comparison to the console users. The game includes a quick tutorial which allows the users to explore. Every user starts the game with three Scorestreaks, earned by taking out enemies and completing tasks. The users can explore the Loadout menu and customize their gear loadout with different weapons. However, some of the classic characters are unlocked by ranking up the levels. In addition, it will also include some fan-favorite maps: Nuketown, Hijacked, Crash and more. Likewise, some of the new and classic multiplayer modes includes Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Gun Game, and Search & Destroy. Classic Call of Duty characters includes John “Soap” MacTavish and Simon “Ghost” Riley from the Modern Warfare series, as well as Alex Mason from the Black Ops series. Meanwhile, the game in the above mentioned multiplayer mode allows up to 10 players (I.E. 5v5).
Call of Duty: Mobile – Battle Royale Mode
The Battle Royale mode includes a 100-player game and features some of the similar characters, weapons, and maps. This mode allows the users to play either solo, duo or team (4 players) in first-person or third-person perspective. The game begins by parachuting the users in on an open map and gather weapons to hunt down the enemies. The users can also grab an ATV, helicopter, and tactical raft to survive.
